Can Brazilian Blowout be performed on color treated hair?
Absolutely! Ideally, as soon as possible after a fresh color and/or highlights, even the same day. Otherwise it is best to wait at least several weeks to a month after so as not to damage the Brazilian Blowout and for the best color results.
I have an event coming up in between my normal color services. How frequently can hair be colored?
Depending on the service, hair may be colored as often as necessary. If the service is performed solely in the new growth without overlapping previously colored hair no damage should occur.
How long will it take to grow my hair into a different length or shape?
On average, hair grows half an inch a month, so depending on how long your hair is now and how long you want it to be I can do the “hair math” and tell you how long it will take.
My hair is color treated. Can I lighten it?
Yes you can. Depending on the desired result, this can either be allowed to occur “organically” by matching the naturally-occurring lightening of the colored hair with a progressively lighter formula until the desired result is acheived, or if a quicker and more dramatic result is desired the existing color can be removed and a new color applied. Highlighting techniques may also be employed to achieve a lighter result.
Do you cut children’s hair?
Absolutely. I have always enjoyed working with every type of person, and children are no exception. I particularly enjoy the dynamic of working with families.
